The Bay Area Argentine Tango Association was founded in 1992. It is the oldest
largest group to promote the art of Argentine Tangoonthe West Coast.
Today, the Association works with a community of over 500 tangueros as a central
clearing house. BATango’s focusis on providing education through
scholarships, workshops, along with assisting in bringing dancers and musicians
from Argentina to teach and perform.
In order to better serve the Argentine Tango Community BATango set up an education
foundation. These funds areused to assist ourdancers and promote tango. Your
supportis greatly appreciated.
In addition to membership fees, we can always use volunteer labor. We need help
with our, web site, events list, andmembership processes.
